MONTHLY FOOD/WINE SPECIALS

The following events all take place from 6:30 to 7:30 and cost $20. per person (excluding tax & gratuity); light antipasti will be served throughout the hour.  Plan to stay for dinner!

THURSDAY, JULY 31:  SUMMER BEER TASTING  We are so excited about the line-up of beers to taste!  We'll start with a wheat beer from Weinhenstephaner (the oldest brewery in the world - in Germany, of course); then on to the Belgian Duvel lager-style; a hoppy IPA from Green Flash (CA); the Rare Voss Amber ale; and to finish, Vanilla Java Porter from Michigan.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 21:  HEIRLOOM TOMATO TASTING  Our grower Charlie Baer will bring up to a dozen (or more) varieties of heirloom tomatoes, including Sungold, Black Krim, Purple Cherokee & Brandywine.  We'll taste some of these rarities with olive oil & vinegar, homemade breads and a cheese selection.  Beverages (wine, cocktails, soft drinks, etc) will be available for purchase.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 18:  WINE TASTING, THE BIO-DYNAMIC WINES OF ALOIS LAGEDER  In the northern Alto Adige region in Italy, Mr. Lageder has been in the forefront of bio-dynamic winemaking.  We'll taste five of his wines and speak with his representative about the winemaking process.  One of his wines, the red Lagrein, is currently featured on our wine list by the bottle & half carafe.  Come try it!  

ALL EVENTS REQUIRE RESERVATIONS WHICH MUST BE  GUARANTEED BY A CREDIT CARD.  CANCELLATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AND REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED UP TO THE DAY OF THE EVENT.          In the past, these events have all sold out, since space is limited.  We will have Waiting Lists for them and appreciate your cancellations as early as possible.
